Join our film screening team

If you love watching films at the Festival, and are one of those who tries to tick off every session, then how about helping pick the official selection!

We depend on an enthusiastic and commited bunch of remote 'screeners', who watch films entered into the Festival competion through the year, and help us choose the very best for the final programme.

You don't need to have a special knowledge, just an appreciation for the power of adventure storytelling, and some free time to help out from your home.

VOLUNTEERS AT KENDAL

The success of the Festival is in huge part down to our amazing crew of volunteers.

Each year we look to recruit a 'core' team of 50-60 Festival volunteers who will be available for the whole Festival weekend and willing to work any of the main Festival days. Alongside this 'core' team we also recruit support volunteers.

Team roles will have huge amounts of variety and will at times be hard work but will be extremely satisfying and lots of fun!
